These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of doco.work (the “Site”) and bookings at Door County Coworking (“we,” “us,” or “DoCo”) in Fish Creek, Wisconsin. By using the Site or completing a booking, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, do not use the Site or book with us.

The service

We operate a small coworking space with shared desks and private offices. During our summer season, you may book day passes and private office day rates online. Longer arrangements (memberships, multi-week offices, events) may be available by arrangement—contact us.

Season dates, hours, prices, and capacity are shown on the Site and may change. Online booking is available only for dates we open for sale on the calendar.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to book or use the space. You are responsible for anyone who enters with your booking or door code.

Bookings and payment

  • Online bookings are completed through Stripe Checkout. Payment is due at booking unless we agree otherwise in writing.
  • Prices are in U.S. dollars as listed at checkout.
  • After successful payment, we email access instructions (including a time-limited door code when applicable) to the email you provide.
  • You are responsible for accurate contact details. We are not responsible for missed messages due to wrong email, spam filters, or phone numbers we cannot use.

Access and use of the space

  • Access is only for the dates and hours of your booking (and any extended access we explicitly grant).
  • Door codes are personal to your booking. Do not share them with people who are not part of your party, or use them outside your booked window.
  • Shared spaces are for professional, respectful use. Phone and video calls are fine in the open space if you use headphones; be considerate of others.
  • No illegal activity, harassment, damage to property, or interference with other guests or building tenants.
  • Parking is limited; free downtown parking is often the better option. Follow any building or posted rules.
  • We may refuse or revoke access if these Terms are violated or if safety requires it, without refund if the violation is serious.

Cancellations and refunds

Refund and cancellation options depend on timing and product. To request a change or refund, contact chris@doco.work or call (920) 333-2866 as soon as possible. Approved refunds are processed through Stripe to the original payment method when feasible. We may decline refunds for no-shows, late cancellations, or misuse of the space.

Website

You may use the Site for lawful personal purposes related to learning about and booking DoCo. You may not scrape, attack, reverse engineer, or overload the Site, or use it to send spam or malware.

Content on the Site (text, branding, photos) is owned by us or our licensors. You may not reuse it commercially without permission.

Disclaimers

The Site and space are provided as is and as available. We do not guarantee uninterrupted internet, perfect availability of every desk or office on every day, or error-free software. Coworking involves shared facilities; we are not responsible for theft or loss of personal property—keep valuables with you.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost profits, arising from your use of the Site or space. Our total liability for any claim related to a booking is limited to the amount you paid us for that booking.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the maximum allowed by law.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Door County Coworking and its owners and operators harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Site or space, your violation of these Terms, or injury or damage you cause, except to the extent caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Privacy

How we handle personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

Changes

We may update these Terms or the Site. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. For an existing paid booking, the Terms in effect when you booked generally apply to that booking unless a change is required by law.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in state or federal courts located in Wisconsin, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
